Rajnath Singh Predicts PoK’s Future Integration Without Force

Delhi desk: Morocco — Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday expressed confidence that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) would eventually become a part of India without any armed intervention.
While addressing the Indian community in Morocco, Singh said that the growing discontent in PoK is an indication that its people will one day naturally align with India. “The circumstances are shifting, and those living in PoK are themselves beginning to realize where they truly belong,” he noted.
He also highlighted that India does not rush into reactionary steps when it comes to global policies. Referring to the past U.S. tariff decisions, Singh explained that New Delhi’s measured response reflected strategic foresight rather than impulsive retaliation.
Singh’s remarks come against the backdrop of debates sparked by opposition leaders, who recently questioned the government for not taking control of PoK after the successful “Operation Sindoor.” Responding indirectly to these criticisms, the Defence Minister emphasized that change is happening gradually — both politically and ideologically.
