Gwalior Shock: Robbers Shoot Policeman on Highway, Loot Cash & Mobile, Ex-MLA Saves Life

Delhi Desk: The injured cop, Pramod Tyagi, is posted in Indore and hails from Joura, Morena. He was on his way to Gwalior on his bike when the incident took place.

Just before the Panihar toll plaza, miscreants stopped him and attempted to loot. When he resisted, they shot him in the chest. The robbers fled the scene with his mobile phone and cash.

The injured policeman lay on the road for a long time until Congress leader and former MLA Satpal Singh Sikarwar stopped, placed him in his vehicle, and rushed him to Jaya Arogya Hospital.

Police reached the spot shortly after the incident.
